Music- the only music that will be used is on the build up before he enters the school/area of shooting is when he has the radio on in the car. We were going to use some opera music from one of the radio stations in order to create a contrapuntal sound in order to create some sort of confusion that will make the audience question what is going to happen. During the shooting, there will be no music apart from the diegetic music that we hear of gun shots and people screaming which we will adding in.

I am not sure that contrapuntal sound is what you need - might be better to actual use a parallel sound track - check out the links and post some tracks that you feel might be suitable.
