As for continuity editing this consists of using a MOA (match on action), S/RS (shot reverse shot) and not breaking the 180 degree rule. In our thriller opening we will be attempting to use a match on action when the main character (the physco) steps out of the car or when he presses and buzzer before entering the school. As for the the shot reverse shot, we will be using this when he shares dialogue between the receptionist. Finally, throughout the film we will not break the 180 degree rule and the main scene that it will be used in is when he is talking to the receptionist along with including a shot reverse shot along with the 180 degree rule.
