Change to the story board and setting

Storyboard

Rather than stick to our original story board we have made a change and added in a shot of the bottom of the college drive. This will be the opening shot of our 2 minute sequence, and it shows straight away that the college is an important part of the film. The shot depicts the bottom of the drive, looking up towards the college entrance but the entrance not being in sight. However, we can see the board outside the college that has the logo and name of the college on it. This again puts emphasis on the fact that the college is important to the film and shows an exterior shot of what the psycho is about to enter.


















Setting
As for our setting we had a quick change in plan due to the fact we were assigned oakmeeds for the Thursday 19th February but missed that day because we were on half term and did not see our emails. Instead Andrew allowed us to use the college, we asked the receptionist if they would be happy to share dialogue between him and Dave and they were happy to do it and so we filmed all of the main part of the opening there.

Props

Costume

For the costume, Dave will be dressed in smart clothes as he is going to attend a student interview. Specifically he will be wearing a white shirt and black trousers. Although he is playing a student which would typically be wearing normal casual clothes we've decided to go with a smart/formal costume.

We are also using an all black bag which fits in with the theme of a college student, however does not look out of place in the environment, so that it can be used to successfully disguise the fact the physco is carrying a small secret weapon in the bag.
