The first shot in the
Zombieland opening titles is of an American flag waving which doesn’t show any
genre of the name of the film, it just has some music and someone narrating
over the top of it. Length (10 seconds)
After his it then shows a zombie running towards the camera as the zombie kills a human. Length (16 seconds)
Then there is a shot showing
the world burning. The emphasis that this creates is that there is a zombie
apocalypse before moving on to multiple shots with information placed on top of
it.
The last set of shots is
when the music kicks in and it shows actors/people that helped produce the film
in a large font made of a bloody effect to back up the genre of the film. These
words are layered over different shots
showing the development of the zombie apocalypse. Length (just over 2 minutes)
