Evil Dead

From looking at the name of the film obviously the word ‘evil’ and ‘dead’ can relate to killing and dead bodies etc, maybe zombies? But generally as the audience we are relating the around either a horror or a thriller based film.

 

 Looking at the title itself, we see the effect or dark red and black once again relating to the horror/thriller genre. But also the effects used on the words themselves is like veins running throughout the words, which is part of the body and can transmit to gore or blood. Length (7 seconds).

 

Secondly, it may not be very clear but after the title is showed to us we then see a puddle of blood running down what it looks to be a set of stairs. As an audience now from looking at the blood and title when then pretty much know for sure what this film is about and the genre. Length (3 seconds).

Finally for the last part of the opening titles it is still running with the many clips of blood dripping down from place and this time with names placed on top of the shot of the people who helped with the film, their name are in red just lie the main title itself but with the vein effect. Length (just over 2 minutes).
